Introduction
Mission Statement: The mission of the Brewster Jr/Sr High Library is
to teach and practice, life-long learning skills through a variety of print,
non-print and electronic resources, providing a foundation for the curriculum
and support of the students and staff.
We like to call ourselves the library media center. We not only have books,
but magazines, periodicals, computerized card catalog, CD-Rom databases,
scholarship information and career and college resources. THIS LIBRARY SERVES
BOTH MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
We hope you feel welcome in our library and spend many productive hours here.
This guide is intended to briefly introduce you to the library and its many
resources. We invite you to visit often to research, explore, discover, inquire
and enjoy!
The materials in the Library Media Center are purchased with both schools in
mind. The collection covers nonfiction, fiction and reference. If you cannot
find the information that you are looking for, ask the Library Media Specialist
who is ready and willing to assist you.
