About Our Schools

THE THREE R’s AND A LOT MORE

Brewster Elementary School

Our goal is to have all students reach their greatest potential by providing a positive environment in which to develop mentally, physically, socially and emotionally.

The Board of Directors has always supported a strong academic curriculum in the elementary grades. This basic curriculum includes reading, spelling, handwriting, language compositions, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music, and physical education.

An Age of Preparation

The junior high school experience, while challenging students to master the fundamentals of education and to develop the skills of the independent learner, recognizes the unique needs of adolescents. The school strives to meet the developmental needs by providing a balanced program of academics, exploratory opportunities, social interaction, and interschool competition.

Brewster High School

Our goal is to graduate skilled individuals who recognize the value of learning and demonstrate their responsibilities to their community.

Brewster High School provides students the opportunity to explore a broad spectrum of interests. Students may choose course offerings that will prepare them for college, for vo-tech training, or for the world of work. We expose all high school students to a solid core of academic subject matter and to a school climate of high expectations. A wealth of co-curricular activities are available as well.

Serving Student Needs

In addition to Basic Education, some students receive additional support from various programs. There is a demonstrated student need for continued district involvement in federal and state programs that supplement local taxpayer dollars. These programs include:
